Estilo de vida e a interface com demandas de saúde de adolescentes / Lifestyle and the interface with health demands of adolescents / El estilo de vida y su interfaz con las demandas de salud de los adolescentes

Introdução: A adolescência é fase de mudanças biológicas, cognitivas, emocionais e sociais, com a adoção de estilos de vida e ganho de autonomia, mas, também, de vulnerabilidades. Por predominar a higidez física, há comumente ausência de demanda espontânea e de ações nos serviços voltadas para esse grupo. Objetivo: analisar demandas de adolescentes relacionadas ao estilo de vida na interface com a saúde. Método: estudo qualitativo, tendo integralidade como categoria analítica, desenvolvido com adolescentes de duas escolas públicas. O material empírico foi produzido por oficinas de reflexão que constituem espaço de construção coletiva do conhecimento. Foi analisado pela técnica de análise de discurso, na qual o discurso é uma posição social cujas formações ideológicas são materializadas na linguagem. Resultados: adolescentes concebem a saúde sob o olhar da promoção e da proteção, destacando alimentação saudável como valor a ser incorporado, atividade física como geradora de prazer e bem-estar e distanciando-se do corpo sob o ideal de beleza; uso e abuso de drogas como espaço de vulnerabilidades. Conclusão: adolescentes apresentam visão crítica sobre a realidade e valorizam especificidades da adolescência como demandantes de cuidados. Suas demandas devem ser ponto de partida para o planejamento de ações na perspectiva da integralidade, o que requer parceria entre sistemas de saúde.

Introduction: Adolescence is a phase where biological, cognitive, emotional and social changes take place, lifestyles are adopted and autonomy is gained, but it is also a phase of vulnerabilities. Because physical health predominates in this life phase, there is a common lack of spontaneous demand and actions in health services directed to this group. Objective: To analyze the demands of adolescents related to their lifestyle in the interface with health. Method: This is a qualitative study with comprehensiveness as analytical category, developed with adolescents of two public schools. The empirical material was produced in reflection workshops, which constituted the space for collective construction of knowledge. Data were analyzed through the discourse analysis technique, for which a discourse is a social position whose ideological formations are materialized in language. Results: Adolescents conceive health under the view of promotion and protection, highlighting healthy eating as a value to be incorporated; physical activity as a generator of pleasure and well-being, and non-related to the view of body as an ideal beauty standard; and drug use and abuse as a space of vulnerability. Conclusion: Adolescents presented a critical view about reality and they valued the specificities of adolescents as objects of care. Their demands should be a starting point for planning actions in the perspective of comprehensiveness, which requires a partnership between health and educational systems.

Percepção de mulheres soropositivas para o HIV sobre direitos reprodutivos / Perception of seropositive women for HIV about reproductive rights / Percepción de las mujeres com vih para VIH acerca de los derechos reproductivos

Objetivo: identificar a percepção de mulheres soropositivas para o HIV, sobre direitos reprodutivos. Método: estudo descritivo, exploratório, de natureza qualitativa, com 13 mulheres infectadas pelo HIV atendidas em um Centro de Referência em Saúde Sexual de uma cidade do interior da Bahia. A produção dos dados se deu a partir da entrevista guiada por um roteiro. Os dados foram tratados por meio da Técnica de Análise de Conteúdo Temática. Resultados: a percepção sobre o significado de direitos reprodutivos é escassa entre as participantes e a maioria não se considera detentora desses direitos devido ao medo de transmitir o vírus para os/as filhos/as. Conclusão: considerou-se importante esclarecer as mulheres portadoras do HIV sobre os seus direitos reprodutivos, como também fomentar entre profissionais de saúde a consciência sobre esses direitos, especialmente a equipe de Enfermagem, que presta cuidados às pessoas infectadas pelo HIV.(AU)

Objective: to identify the perception of HIV-positive women for HIV, about reproductive rights. Method: a descriptive, exploratory study of a qualitative nature, conducted with 13 HIV-infected women attended in a Sexual Health Reference Center of a town in the countryside of Bahia. Data production occurred from the guided interview by a script. The data were analyzed through Thematic Content Analysis Technique. Results: the perception of the meaning of reproductive rights is scarce among the participants and most do not consider holder of these rights, due to fear of transmitting the virus to the children. Conclusion: it was considered important to clarify the HIV-positive women about their reproductive rights, as well as foster among healthcare workers awareness about these rights, especially the nursing team that provides care for people with HIV.(AU)

Objetivo: identificar la percepción de las mujeres VIH-positivas para el VIH, en los derechos reproductivos. Método: este es un estudio descriptivo, exploratorio de carácter cualitativo, conducido con 13 mujeres infectadas por el VIH asistidas en un Centro de Referencia de Salud Sexual de un pueblo del interior de Bahía. La producción de los datos ocurrió a partir de la entrevista guiada por una secuencia de comandos. Los datos se procesaron mediante la Técnica de Análisis de Contenido Temático. Resultados: la percepción del significado de los derechos reproductivos es escasa entre los participantes y la mayoría no tiene en cuenta el titular de los derechos por temor a la transmisión del virus a los/las niños/as. Conclusión: se consideró importante aclarar las mujeres VIH-positivas sobre sus derechos reproductivos, así como fomentar la sensibilización entre los trabajadores de la salud acerca de estos derechos, especialmente el equipo de enfermería, que brinda atención para las personas con VIH.(AU)

[Thinking about care in the dialetic relationship among social subjects]. / Pensando o cuidado na relação dialética entre sujeitos sociais.

The objective of this essay is to offer theoretical data to the understanding of care, oriented by an ethic in which interaction among the constitutive dimensions of the social subjects is put into effect. A review of the historical construction of care and its medication appraising and its influence in the training and in professional practices is done. It emphazises current meaning of care and the need for building a healthcare political project that should not only respond to the available services increasing and to technical actions solution but also, sensitively listen to the needs by taking into account singularities and the formation of critical-reflexive subjects able to promote changes and modify the reality in which they live in.

[Gender, health and nursing]. / Gênero, saúde e enfermagem.

This essay is about Gender, Health and Nursing, the main theme of the 65th Brazilian Nursing Week held in 2004. Besides doing a review of the construction of Gender as an analytical category and a critical analysis of socio-historical building of the nursing career, some implications of the stereotypes of gender to work practices are shown. The subject is articulated with concrete practices in which nurses are the focus of attention, particularly women's health and the influence of men and women relationship in the health-illness process. An awareness of gender building as one of the conditions to the increasing of the professional field pointing out challenges and ways to follow is emphasized.
